Ms. Joy Lin has been practicing law since 1997. She used to be the Senior Attorney/Counselor of Lee & Li Attorneys-at-Law, Integrated Partner of Tsar & Tsai Law Firm, and the Chief Legal Officer of Equvo group.
Joy specializes in inbound and outbound corporate investment, mergers & acquisitions, listing rules and regulations, compliance of securities-related enterprises, labor, patent, copyright, contract review and general corporate consultation.
Joy has handled the first and second cases in Taiwan for the spin-off of foreign insurance entities in Taiwan and has assisted several foreign securities firms, insurance companies, banks in setting up a securities firm or branch in Taiwan and applying for related business required for special permit/approval. She also handled the first case in Taiwan for the merger of the securities firm and futures commission merchant. Commencing from 2005, She worked in the Hsinchu Science Park and has assisted high tech companies in cross-border mergers & acquisitions, share exchange, sale of operating assets and factories, investment, joint venture, equipment leasing, facilities/loan, IP infringement dispute and general civil litigations matters.
Joy is a frequent speaker on corporate investment, mergers & acquisitions, securities trading and directors’ & supervisors’ liabilities.
